I’m delighted to be part of such an exciting collection of some of the UK’s finest Inns. What an incredible choice…. I’m looking forward to visiting some of them myself!’ Emily Watkins, Kingham Plough, Oxfordshire

Welcome to Inn Places

We’ve tried and tested hundreds of inns, pubs with rooms and small hotels across the UK and handpicked our very favourites. Smart furnishings, contemporary bathrooms and the little details – once the preserve of five-star hotels – are now the norm in many of our country pubs and inns.

We’ve slept in the beds, sampled the food, supped the ales and strolled the surroundings to bring you our first-hand experience of what these special places have to offer. What we look for? A welcoming yet informal atmosphere, comfortable bedrooms, great food, fine wines and real ales – the perfect recipe for a great stay away.

Why book with us?

  • Peace of mind – each inn is personally invited to join by David, no one can buy their way on to Inn Places. You can be sure that these charming places really are the best
  • Simple to Book Booking has never been easier – with live availability across the majority of our properties and a best price guarantee, there’s simply no need to look anywhere else
  • Food Trails – to make your stay even better, our unique Food Trails showcase local artisan producers, farm shops, and the best places to eat

Unique food trails

To enhance your stay we have researched Food Trails that showcase artisan producers, farm shops and the best eateries within a 20-mile radius of each pub.

You can tour the brewery that brewed your pint, visit the shop on the farm that reared your delicious Sunday roast beef and seek out the roadside stalls selling the local crab and samphire on the inn’s menu, then enjoy them at home. If you are looking for a pub for lunch after a country walk, a different venue for dinner, or a good café for coffee, light lunch or afternoon tea, then we list the best in the area.

Every Inn has a unique food trail under its entry; click here for the latest ones.
