Best pubs to stay at for Oenophiles

7 August 2017

The rise and rise of the gastropub has not only seen a transformation in the quality of food being served but the wine too. Walk into any of our inns and you are likely to find chalked-up wine lists reflecting the landlord’s personal tastes, with wines often sourced from a range of small merchants, even individual vineyards.  You will find a huge array served by the glass, and all are chosen to match the style of food served up in the kitchen.

So, if you consider yourself a bit of an oenophile, why not book a room at one these fabulous pubs with rooms, delve into the wine list over dinner, and perhaps take home a bottle or two as some of our wine-loving owners have even found room for a wine shop at the pub.
