The busy season is approaching but there are still plenty of fabulous country inns peacefully tucked away in less busy areas yet perfect for walking, cycling and other country pursuits, or just to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of life.
This week we have selected six inns that fit the bill, the first three are new to Inn Places and include a remote coastal retreat in Northumberland, a 14th century inn deep in Exmoor’s Brendon Hills, and a foodie inn lost in the Cornish countryside.  So set off early to ensure that by the day’s end you will be sipping summer drinks at one of these cracking pub with rooms.
